AJP8 - Decibels?

It's getting close to that time where I need to be booking track time and getting familiar with the car. Before I start booking, can someone give me an idea of the db an AJP TC car puts out on average? Don't want to be booking places where I might have a problem with the noise test. Also, do any tracks or airfield tracks have any restrictions on the use of slicks? Thanks chaps.
As per Graham, ive never known an AJP Tuscan fail the 105db at any circuit we've raced at, so all things being equal you should have no problems at our usual venues.
Elvington is in your neck of the woods Mark, and i have taken AJP and Rover engined cars there in the past , but they tightened up there noise limits which effectivley banned V8 engined TVR's of any substance.
It was a great place to take liberties with a TC car, so it still might be worth enquiring with someone like Javelin who run a lot of days there.
There's usually no problem with slicks on race cars on track days, unless the day is specifically road car only (it's the pillocks that turn up in 200 quid Pug 309's with no cage and fresh slicks that used to get told to Go Away

).Just out of interest, are most tuned to 105db then? The old exhaust in mine had the silencer as well as 4 cherry bombs so they must have had issues with noise. Its going in to have the exhaust sorted out shortly though, so should I aim for 105 or lower, as I thought some tracks were lower?
Must've been a typo.The only places I've been turned away from are Goodwood and Bedford. Everyone else has been very 'understanding' ... even Donington with a 98dB drive by limit, although I did have to back off under the bridge.
The trouble is noise is quite subjective. Different noise meters will produce different results on different days. I get tested at most sprint venues and the results differ hugely, even though the car is reved to about the same amount. I have been measured at 90 and 110, and everything in between and the other TVR's that get told they are too loud seems random.
If you book the track day and tell them what you are driving, most seem very happy to help.

Interesting. Thanks for that Simon. Good luck with the hillclimbing this year! BTW, did you ever come across Martin Crass' old car whilst it was hillclimbing? Just wondered who owned it and what history they may have on it. I've seen the Shelsey Walsh youtube vid, but can't make out who the driver was.

I was minded to spend a lot of time at Elvington Darren, as Fred T suggested the same to me. Unfortunately they are now at 98db and seem unwilling to budge on this. Looks like it will be the new tarmac at Blyton Park, albeit quite a bit further away than Elvington for me. It was a great place to take liberties with a TC car, so it still might be worth enquiring with someone like Javelin who run a lot of days there.
