Just in case there is anyone out there who is not aware of just how fantastic the Japanese GT racing series is just check out the video links below from 2011 (part 1 & 2) from an event at the Autopolis circuit.

Two classes GT500 ie 500hp front engined racing cars made to look like road cars.....ish! GT300 300hp mixture of specials and European GT cars.

NO SUCCESS BALLAST which ruined GT1 in Europe by creating different winners but oh so boring racing at the individual events.

Dont worry about not understanding the commentary, the racing speaks for itself and besides the graphics tell you what you need to know.

Great racing indeed. I used to watch JGTC back when the MR2's, and the Supras used to run, (the Supra using the 3Sgte engine).

Just wish MotorsTV, ESPN or Eurosport could get hold of SuperGT, as it is, YouTube will have to do.

Great series, with great cars - and the Track Safari is insane.....

I've been to few Jgt races, the most boring racing I've ever seen. You must be looking at highlights, pit girls are the best thing about jgt
