I'd keep the specials, the green top Damon Hill WC edition and any others with significant content like Imola 94, Mansell Australia 86, Mansell 92 WC and similar. Bin the rest.
What I did. Kept some green and blue tops and any that had significance for me, as well as the British GP, RAC Rally, BTCC and Le Mans supplements. The rest went. While it was nice to pick up an old copy and see where the F3000 drivers of 1997 are now, I realised they were taking up too much space in a mouldy cupboard and had no need for them anymore. There's so much archive info on the net anyway.Excellent, thanks for the comments - that's a decision made then.
I'd have kept the BGP issues and Imola '94. Might also keep some of my favourite new F1 car features from the late '80's early '90's: I always remember the studio shots of the first Newey designed Leyton House March and thinking it looked the absolute business with the old school airbox, after the turbo cars. I hope I can find that issue. TBH I'd forgotten about the green covers though - I'll keep them too.
Amazing how, even 25 years later I can remember a lot of the cover pictures. It's gets quite sentimental remembering all the great times my dad and I had down at Silverstone...
Anyway, thanks again guys - I don't feel so bad binning them now.
ETA was the Jaguar '88 Le Mans win a green cover too?

I'm having the same dilemma myself due to an impending house move.
Looks like a trip to the tip is in order, shame really.
These were just mine - my Dad also had about 15 years' worth of them from 1950's which also need disposing of at some point. Same with his Motor Sport magazines from the 1960's to present...Looks like a trip to the tip is in order, shame really.
