F1 Drivers- Medicals?

Just watched this video from McLaren:

......and it got me wondering. Do F1 drivers have medicals before they sign for another team?
It seems the obvious answer is yes, but I've never heard of a driver having one.
You hear it lots in football, but I suppose they are more injury prone.

I'd imagine there would be a sight test and a general medical but nothing quite as intense as a footballers medical. I'm sure I read that McLaren did some tests on Perez after he signed and he wasn't actually that fit compared to Jenson or Lewis.

Yes the teams all take driver fitness and look very closely at all aspects of human performance, with scans, x-rays etc.
