Donald Campbell's 50th Anniversary.....
Discussion
Hi All,
As and avid fan of the Campbells and their amazing achievements i have just heard a radio interview from a station in New Zealand featuring Gina Campbell, to cut a long story short it seams that Gina would love to bring CN7 {Car} and K7 {Boat} together at Beaulieu Motor Museum next year to mark the 50th anniversary of her Fathers world land and water speed records , which were both set within the same year { The only man ever to do this}........However...Current K7 owner {and recoverer of the wreck from the depths of Coniston}, Mr Bill Smith is rumoured to be against letting K7 take her rightful place at the planned display. if this is true then i find it really sad that Gina may not get her wish!....this amazing craft is first and foremost British and has the word Campbell written all over it.....Gina has a moral right to have these two wonderful machines back together again in a fitting tribute to a true Hero.
