What is the qualification for the grading?

I see for example Martin Brundle has dropped from a Platinum to Gold, whilst Alex has gone from Silver to Gold.

Looks like its a committee agreement rather than qualification/result.

From the Blancpain site (similar categories):

"NOTE : after a first season in the Blancpain Endurance Series, classification can eventually be adjusted according to the actual comparative race and qualifying pace demonstrated"

So I suspect he'll be claiming to be a Gentleman these days.

With a bit of effort & a license upgrade looks like I could become a Bronze.
