Hi everyone,

I needed to speak with the BRSCC today and they told me the provisional timetable for our first race weekend which is as follows:-

Sat 11th May - Qually 17.40 (20 mins)

Sun 12th May - Race 1 13.25 (20 mins)
- Race 2 17.40 (20 mins)

Makes for a fairly relaxed Saturday; Let's hope the previous sessions don't run over time! Hopefully see you all there smile

Those are s**t timings with nothing happening till late Sat and then only qualy + to add insult to injury, 2 late races on Sun. Surely we should get better programming than that, especially since we've been given the pit-lane garages! ! !

I suspect we probably have the garages due to the poor track slots we've been given.

Ah - I see the "quid pro quo" of programming!

P.S. - you're right about the racing and weekend but, having been with CSCC at Snett last weekend where the Pirelli Ferrari Challenge cars had the garages and the prime time programming, makes a very obvious statement!

more time to actualy watch some racing and do a bit of social, and more time to get over the hang over on sat and sun.
can't wait to get back out there.and well done to JR and GP for the garages, they make a huge difference to a racing weekend.

Craig,
I think you should speak to Reidy &/or BRSCC to find out who is Clerk of the Course for us that weekend. It will be down to his discretion as to whether he'll let you start from the back of the grid or not at all. I believe the Regs state that you must do 3 laps in qually to be allowed to participate in the race. Would be a shame to turn up and not be allowed to play so I'd be inclined to get clearance in advance! Cheers mate and hope it works out

what Steve said.... They may allow you to do 3 laps during lunch on Sunday but it is down to the C o C by prior arrangement. All the qually rounds will have been done on Saturday.

Thats what i was thinking Dave, we are at Time attack at croft on Saturday otherwise would have done the full weekend.

I'm sure Reidy or Geoff can sort it for you.

I couldn't qually at Caldwell in 09, I did 3 laps behind the safety car and was allowed to start from the back of the grid. With cars "not being ready" at the start of the season and it being the first race weekend you've got a good shot I'd say Craig.
