oulton park query
Discussion
Does anyone know if you can stick spectate from old hall or lodge without paying extra for the grandstand?
How do you park in the inside of the track and does it take longer to leave after the racing?
Lastly what's the best option for avoiding traffic? get there early or aim to arrive 15mins before the first race?

You can spectate from Lodge to Old Hall at no extra charge although at British GT they weren't allowing anyone onto the big field behind Old Hall although I was told this was just termporary. You do have to pay extra for the grandstands.egor110 said:

Enter via the main entrance but where you park is dependant on the size of the event.egor110 said:

I think arriving early is always preferable.Yes go in via knicker brook if you don't want to go in the middle of the circuit.
Don't go in anywhere near the main entrance because of the queues, for British GT this year they were queued nearly all the way back down coach road to the A49, carry on down the A49 and take the Oulton Mill Lane road to Knickerbrook.

My plan was coming from stoke , come off m6 at junc 16 then head cross country a500/a51 then up to either shaws entrance or knickerbrook.Don't go in anywhere near the main entrance because of the queues, for British GT this year they were queued nearly all the way back down coach road to the A49, carry on down the A49 and take the Oulton Mill Lane road to Knickerbrook.
If i do want to go into the middle can i just walk up to clay hill and go over the bridge?
have a look at map and seek out church minshull head to winsford (b5074) and then a hamlet called darnhall follow the road past the private air strip, past oak tree farm and that takes you to knickerbrook entrance which is always the easiest way of getting in and out, we've used it for over 20years not had any issues.

That's the route I take and have never had a problem especially if going for the Knickerbrook entrance. Clay hill bridge is indeed the only way into the middle from Knickerbrook. If i do want to go into the middle can i just walk up to clay hill and go over the bridge?
