Best racing of the weekend?

Anyone else able to juggle sport this weekend like me?



A nice day of BTCC + support races, WTCC, MotoGP, Indycar with a bit of footy and snooker.

Verdicts?

Top Racers; Ingram, Huff, Woodhead, Hinchciffe

Top chumps; Lorenzo

Most gutted; Jordan. Last lap puncture while cruising in the lead. Bummer.

Best Battle; Ingram v Breeze

Best Crash; Tarquini. Boom!

Best Races; Porsche Supercup, Indycar

Move of the day; Jeff Smith was it a trebble or double overtake down the outside!? Tom Ingram? Or maybe Crutchlow zipping up his overalls and acknowledging to the cameras that we all saw is pigeon t!ts.

Best final lap; BTCC race 2, Indycar, MotoGP

Wow, and I thought that I was sad.

Marques on Lorenzo was so audacious it had to be the move of the day.

MotoGP currently shows F1 the way for exciting Motorsport.

As much as I love Moto GP, aside from the move from Marquez on Lorenzo, yesterday's race wasn't that special.

Yeah. One wonders if some of these loyally motoGP-superior fans have been watching both F1 and motoGP for the past few years.

Anyway, no I'm not married. Given this kind of sports weekend happens quite a lot these days, I'm taking this as a wholly advantageous position to be in.

Your choice but as I said on another thread- you're just watching a lot of telly .... Enjoy the spring and go and watch some live stuff- it's all in 3D with full stereo too!

While I have many talents, separating myself into 5 different entities to be at 5 different venues at the same time, all whilst parting with no cash, isn't one of them.

Took a while to properly get going, but for me, the final third of the Sao Paulo Indycar race contained some of the bravest, most committed street circuit racing I think I've ever seen. Deserves a wider audience.

Best racing I saw all weekend was Historic F2 at Donington. Three abreast into Redgate in top-notch 2L Chevron, Ralt and March machinery. Absolutely epic. While I applaud your televisual commitment, you can keep your three tellies, I want to feel the ground shake, hear that 420R induction noise and smell Castrol R on the breeze from pre-war GP cars. Nothing compares to live motor sport.

Oh and I treated it as an opportunity to get the old Exige out and had an absolutely fantastic drive over to Donington from Cheshire on Sunday morning on deserted roads.
