Saw these and thought of you gents, solely because perhaps someone can shed more light on the claims and whether anyone thought they'd be worth a punt . . I'm not in need, but them being slightly out of the ordinary prompted me to disturb your normal discussions.

Interesting DTH TB type set up and a 'flat plain' crank for a RV8, claimed as ex-factory kit, the induction set up is cast with TVR if that gives any provenance.

Not sure on the induction but the rv8 flat plain crqnk is very rare!! Also a major pita (my opinion!!). Couple of mg lads using them and setup of engine has to be totally different, cam is 600+ (iirc) to get made and not many people can make them work... When they do work though, over 400bhp from a 3.9 is achievable so im told!! Doesnt sound like a rv8 either. :-)

The throttle bodies are TVR I have a set the inlet manifolds are the same as thr carb ones
