Btcc gets back under way for the 5th round at the croft track. The championship is closely packed together with no real driver yet to dominate.

So what will rd 5 bring us more close racing, bumper to bumper action and mayby a new car too.
As it's the 5th rd the boost levels are to be altered aswel.

So some news liam griffin sits out the meeting with jake hill taking over the seat for this meeting only

http://www.touringcartimes.com/2013/06/17/jake-hil...

Andy neat should have his cruze out on track aswel.

The 3rd ngtc focus is rumoured to be out for this meeting.

The 2nd audi will be running with the Swindon lump along with the robs audi that was changed over for oulton park.

I will be watching this on tv this time weather is looking uncertain at the moment and with croft normally either boiling hot or pissing down with rain anything could happen.

I'll be there both days, rain or shine! Just hope it's as good as last year.

I will be there, but based on previous visits I'm taking wet weather clothing. It was freezing last year and blowing a gale.
How long will Andy Neate stay on the track, that's the question.....

Good old Croft. Super circuit.

Dont the old BMWs go well here?

Maybe the new 1 series will do well- RWD out of the hair pin.

Le Mans and BTCC.

Bonza.

Hope so! Think we're in with a good shot if it's wet

Have you managed to get any more weight out of the car? I seem to remember you saying the thing was over the minimum with no ballast.

Yeah Dave is at about minimum car+driver weight with no ballast but unfortunately I'm still victim to FBE as I'm about 25-30kg heavier than he is.

Unfortunately I'm moving job and house at the moment so my weight loss regime hasn't really stood much of a chance. I've dropped 5 or 6 kg since the start of the season, but hopefully once I'm sorted I'll be able to knock at least another 10kg off that by the end of the season.

Hazard of having a day job and a 'normal' life unfortunately!

Would love to see Jake have a good race. Him and his dad are good guys.

Weather predictions looking appalling at the moment, and there's hardly anywhere to escape the elements at Croft frown

Exactly why I don't like going to the place anymore. Great circuit in terms of what you can see from the bankings, but the facilities are crap.

Good to have the 3rd focus out and hopefully with neate out on track we should see 29 cars on track with a wet race on the cards anything could happen should be some interesting race winners.

Surprise surprise andy neate to miss croft with a "technical reason" will we see this team out this year at all sounds like team 48 with the green alfa 156, such a joke to have him in the series.

Not really a surprise. There was no sign of him in the Paddock today.
