Bit of a random post this one.. long story short, my Cerb is going into storage with a friend come september for the winter. He also has a Chim & a Tuscan Challenge ( complete car with correct engine ).
Now he's been musing over selling them both but the challenge is a little out of my normal circles, is there a way to value the car? Obviously very finger in the air and on the assumption the car is complete and bar getting it running again ( not run in five years, dry stored ).
Any help greatly appreciated, cheers!

It is quite a task to get an abandoned challenge car back on the road or track. Of course depending on the condition and if you are able or willing to do some work yourself.
I went through this for the last year.
In the very best case you will only need new tires and injectors and battery.
In the worst case ... don´t get me started.
But there are many helpful people here who know far better.
I bet you won´t find any sleep at the moment....
....and after you have driven one.

Cheers for the replies chaps, i'm going to get some pics to confirm the condition and then hopefully take it from there.
Can understand why you would not sell, i'll probably get buried in my Cerbera. : )
Some more info:
"The engine fitted is one of the TVR race tuned engines that used to be available to lease only & went back to the factory each year for tuning etc.
When Smolenski bought the company he put them all up for sale. So I bought one. Was quite an investment at the time but I thought 'worth it'. As it happens, it hasn't even been turned over since I bought it."
I replaced the gearbox (Borg Warner T55 Close Ratio ) and have a brand new (still in the box ) race seat to fit."
