British GP Qualifying didn't record!!

Just settled down to spend the rest of the afternoon watching the qually, recorded on the PVR - only to find that it hasn't recorded!
This is really weird: we definitely set the PVR up for series-record for all the F1 programmes (it's a Humax) - both Mrs T and I checked the settings yesterday - and it picked up today's early-morning BBC2 highlights of Friday practice with no probs, but it appears to have sort of switched off the record setting for the afternoon programme.
Even weirder, exactly the same thing has happened with the (identical) dining-room PVR which we set up as a back-up.
So we're going to have to pick up the qually on BBC iPlayer once they've uploaded it (it's not there yet).
Just getting the frustration off my chest there, but has anybody else experienced a problem like this?

Same thing here - didn't record FP1/2/3 and wouldn't set a series link for Qualifying and race. Had to set them separately. My Humax did record it, but I noticed that there was nothing in the EPG for the programme right up to the start - likewise on a separate digital TV - and I assume that series link works only when the programme ID is broadcast. I set mine individually for F1 because I have noticed that series link is unreliable on it. There's an historic thread on Digital Spy on F1 and SL.
