help needed regarding a competition car. mallock or radical

hi all.im after a track car with the possibility of sprinting it and was considering a radical clubsport which are all fairly similar, or a mallock,which are all totally different.
ive had a lot of help from the radical guys on here and came to the conclusion that my £9k budget will only just scrape an zzr 1100 clubsport.
i contacted mallock yesterday and they were very helpful and had a nice mk27 with a 200bhp vauxhall red top for similar money.
i am unsure of which mallock to go for as there seems to be so many. any help would be fantastic cheers!

Get yourself over onto the Clubmans Register website, there's a forum there which would be the best place to ask, Mallocks have been raced in Clubmans for donkeys years and there's huge amounts of knowledgable guys on there.

You really aren't comparing like with like! Mallocks have been used for many years successfully in hillclimbs and sprints, and in circuit racing. Odd things in many ways but very successful.
Back in the day they were not far off F3 pace.
I have a theory that a Mallocks may be easier to drive thana single seater or a Radical, because they are balanced fore and after (high moment of inertia, like aPorsche 944) and because you sit so near the rear axle that it is easier to sense rear end movement.
The vauxhall engined car at Mallocks should have an almost bomb proof engine compared to a bike engine, the car can also be used onthe Clubmans race series.
If it were me I go for the Mallocks. I think it will be plenty quick enough but cheaper to run over time.
