Possible new Karting section/thread on PH

Having read the other karting thread on here asking why there isn't a already a karting section, I thought I'd ask PH. They have said they think it would be a good idea to start one up IF there is enough interest and it will get used. So my question is, is there enough interest out there for a new karting section/thread ? I'm in

Puzzles me why they will consider a Karting section, but dismissed out of hand a Rallying section.

Only because I asked but I agree. There are quite a few very quiet sections on here I think both of these would be quite active.

Plus an extra one for the f1 threads so general motorsport can be for general motorsport. If we have one for ginetta why I don't know then why not a f1 section.

Some of it is. However there is far more karting in Europe/rest of the world now on a championship level. There's probably almost as many different classes/series in karting as there is in single seaters.

I do a bit with the works social club, it's a bit of fun. I wouldn't migrate to the Club Motorsport thread for hints/tips/general bhing, as I'd assume that's for the full licenced racing driver brigade, not oiks like me . (not that I'm saying karting is for oiks, or other motorsport isn't
