I just came here to post this! They showed a clip before the BTCC on Sunday of a Tim Harvey in the touring car race - touring cars from the 70's, 80's and 90's all on track at the same time! Can't wait.

Hope it's better edited than the Goodwood one on the other week, which was 40 minutes of babble, 10 minutes of action and 10 minutes of adverts.

That was a 20 years of programme and not the actual highlights?

Anyway, can't wait for this. Should be good.

Looking forward to seeing the very quick Michael Lyons in the RAM Fw07 in the pre-83 F1 race. I saw him win at Brands earlier this year, didn't put a foot wrong all weekend.

That was brilliant. 'Whyte's gone off of his own accord!' See what he did there?

And the Ferrari 512 is out, Jackie Ickx, 6 times Le Mas winner.
Looked like Paul Knapfield to me!

There is only so much you can fit into a highlights package and iirc it wasn't one of the better races in terms of action on track.

Isn't that about right for that event these days? 1/6 about the cars, 1/6 the stars and the rest about being seen there? I honestly wouldn't go to Goodwood if you paid me to these days, and I've had that offer for a good few years now...

IMO The racing on Saturday's saloon car race was the best I saw all weekend. It was great from what I saw at Village and the Loop.

That isn't a genuine ex F1 car

legard seemed the most disinterested bloke ever. when commentating on classic cars it all about letting the viewer know about the history and the provenance of the cars with a passion that makes them seem mildly interested. All he was doing was 'say what you see'.

for example the quick interview with Tiff, he had a PASSION for the cars.

Really? It was definitely entered at Brands and Silverstone as a RAM (ex-Williams) FW07. I would have thought the FIA would be pretty thorough in verifying eligibility to race in the FIA Masters Historic Formula One Championship.
