Well this year I bit the bullet and am going for the whole weekend. I arrive Friday at noon for 2nd practice with seats in 6B (at the chicane). As long as its a good race I don't care who wins, but will be supporting Hamilton.
Starting the predictions:
1. Vettel
2. Hamilton
3. Webber
I'll be in 6c next door, also arriving Friday.Starting the predictions:
1. Vettel
2. Hamilton
3. Webber
My first f1 race too, seen tests at silverstone that's my experience of f1 cars atm.

GP2 and GP3 races will be well worth watching. Always more interesting / entertaining to watch than F1 but at Monza the low downforce and slipstreaming opportunities make for some great racing.
inside tip - Adrian Quaiffe Hobbs for win - now comfortable with the new team and Spa didn't show his true potential

Hi chaps,
I'm thinking of popping along to the GP on Sunday as I'm in Milan....I appreciate tickets are still availiable online but if my meeting overuns... what are the chances of me getting a pair on the day? Most probably just general Admission...
Thanks

Pair of a lightweights, I'm already here, arrived yesterday and staying in Como (30 minutes on the train from Monza), tickets for Parabolica and going to the pit lane walkabout tomorrow. Be warned it's been very hot and humid for the last two days. Must say thanks to the family for my surprise birthday (big one) present.
We've got tickets for the Parabolica grandstand as well but not heading out until Saturday morning. Forecast for Sunday looks wet and stormy!OT but if you've got a car with you while you're in Como there are some great little roads in the area, out of Bellagio on the Via Valassina and then onto the SP44. They're like mini alpine passes!

Local forecast is saying possible showers over the weekend with temperatures of 27/28, it's been virtually cloudless since we got here on Tuesday, roasting today. Fantastic atmosphere today, very cosmopolitan crowd, great weather helped.OT but if you've got a car with you while you're in Como there are some great little roads in the area, out of Bellagio on the Via Valassina and then onto the SP44. No car sadly, relying on Trenitalia who to be fair have been great which is more than can be said for the buses in Monza today (no free shuttles from the station today, had to rely on the shopping bus, sardines have it easy).
Monday (our last full day here) is forecast to be a washout, bit awkward for me as that's wifey's day after spending 4 days at Monza with me.

In that article about McLaren, Whitmarsh has said 'this car is now quicker than last years car'.
Well given that last years car was on par with the Red Bull for pure pace for most of the year, surely this one would be winning races? Or even looking close to winning races?
All the other teams will have made progress too, so although MW is saying that MP4-28 is now faster than MP4-27, they have still gone backwards compared to this years top four teams. Well given that last years car was on par with the Red Bull for pure pace for most of the year, surely this one would be winning races? Or even looking close to winning races?
