I know this is the Tuscan Challenge Forum and I don't want to clutter it up posts non Tuscan Challenge, but I thought I would mention that we have got an entry into the GT cup race with the yellow Sag at Donington next weekend 28th September. If anyone wants to pop in and say hi you will be made welcome, your support is appreciated.

Only problem is, Tim, because he is driving a TVR, will have to carry 500kg of Ballast, drive blind folded, remove one wheel and 4 plug leads wink......oh and start from the pit lane 3 laps after the others have started. Those technical rules are a bugger hehe

You should do well in that, just make sure the car is as the regs or someone will protest, ie overhang of splitters, ride height, spoiler height, weight of the car after the race, oh and the colour of your under wear, it should be brown or your not driving it hard enough,,,

Take lots of pictures of the car, especially the underside showing anything that's different to a std car and send them to Phil, if anyone complains at least you have submitted the pictures showing the car is as you entered it.

If you need the front wets let me know,, good luck guys,

Craig

Thanks for all your good wishes and advice, we will see how we get on.

As long as we don't come across the same back markers as Mike we might be ok

We have spoken to Phil and he is happy with what we are telling him (think GTO is a bit more flexible)

Full grid by the sound of it

Well, what a day

Car was stunning all day handled great and was quick

Race 1 had a Mosler spin on 1st corner and was left facing Tim leaving him sitting there waiting for all the traffic to pass, was making a good recovery when the top of the steering column broke (still a tuscan part)

Race 2 got an excellent start and led comfortably for a couple of laps until the oil pump belt broke, only saving thing is the ECU switched the car off and saved the engine.

I will say that we were made to feel very welcome by everyone and they were very pleased to see us.

Thanks to everyone who came to see us or kept an eye on us on TSL
