Anyone else watching the Indycar race? Huge crash at the end involving Viso, Sato and Franchitti, the latter being launched into the catch fencing and currently being attended to by medics. Sato also got clobbered by Viso arriving on the scene, but got out of his car ok. Nasty looking stuff. Fingers crossed.

Watching it thanks to my mate Justin.

Nasty, nasty crash. Franchitti launched in to the catch fencing. Hope he's OK.

Hope no one's too badly hurt.

What channel is being shown on in the UK?

It's on ESPN.

The tub looked to be in one piece.

Viso launched a loose wheel over the fence. But, it looked like it landed harmlessly short of the stands.

Not surprising. The wheel seemed to clear the fence by about 30 feet!

People may well criticise the current generation Indycar for not being the prettiest thing ever to grace a track, but give it credit for standing up to that in more or less one piece. If Dario has indeed got away with just being knocked about a bit, it says a lot about the strength of that car. Fingers crossed there are no serious injuries in the crowd.
