Go karting lessons for adults?

Anyone done these and can recommend where to go or even if there are other resources which might be better?

Bit of background: I kart 3-4 times a year which includes at least one team race. From this I've deduced my 'skills' tend to be consistency over outright pace. However, I'd like to understand how I can eke out a bit more time. Don't want to pay a fortune as it's not something I want to take up professionally.

Daytona have half days available but it's unclear who the instructors are. Generally like to find someone who can be recommended. And also do this for adults as a lot of lessons seem to be aimed at the child or teenage age range.

Buckmore Park ( Kent ) used to offer driver tuition albeit aimed at the Junior level but still might be worth a call ?

I did an event at Sandown Park some years ago - Most of the other people seemed to be regulars or even racers (I was chuffed to make it into the final!), so it may be that they running training.
