Rallycross - Lydden today (27-08-07)

Did anyone go to watch the rallycross at lydden today?

Really good day out, up to 600BHP cars, clean racing and a track were you can see almost everything from one place.

Has to have been one of the best race meets i've been to in a long time, despite being far to close to were the mini wheel landed. Good to see no one got hurt during that incident, just a smashed screen on one of the spectators cars which looked like it had been fixed by the time we left.

I usually go but passed this time. Sounds like it was a good day out. thanks for the pics.

Hey Andy,

I was there, first time to Rallycross and a long time coming! Was woken up at 8 being asked if I wanted to go, so of course I did. Arrived just as the mini crashed, I was in the toilet at the time but still heard it.

Great day out, its a shame there are not more of these events. Lots of short sharp, quick races.

Have to admit I was bored by some of the slower races, but the crazy cars more than made up for it. Good track, great view and facilities. Cant argue at all!
