Hello fellow PH's

A Dutch Ring instructor and local garage owner friend of mine, Jaco Velders, has two seats available for a forthcoming VLN race, in his super-sorted, 210bhp E36 BMW 325i race car.
The race date is 27th November - so not long to decide... ;-)

If you are interested in taking part, Jaco can even sort out the National A race licence if you do not already have it, and provides all the services you would require to just 'arrive & drive'.
I have seen the car in action, and its stable, and quick. Jaco's support is excellent too.

Check out the car at http://www.jacos-paddock.com/Jacos_race_cars.htm

If you are interested, email Jaco at jacovelders@hotmail.com.
Tell him Phil sent you... ;-)

Good luck and enjoy racing at the best circuit in the world with ‘the flying dutchman!’ Let us know how you get on...

I have confirmed this post is OK with Garlick at PH.

Sorry MGV8
Yes, Jaco is an RMA Track Day instructor at the Ring, and Spa.
I have lapped in his Exige with him, in an 8m10s, which was stunning
Also seen his 318is do under 8m30s, with 143bhp!
Go on son!

Not to sure i have just e-mailed to find out but they may have gone home as i think they are + 1hour
but it would be better than any track day there.

I have done a few laps of the ring about 200 this year and know it quite well but to race there would be ..... ohhhhhhh

6 Grand for a 325 Beemer one-off VLN drive? He's having a larry. You can get a competitive GT3 RS seat for less than that. Are you sure he doesn't mean the 24hr race?

Bang on MGV8Dave!
Split a few ways, to sahre the drive - and you will want to - is 2K well spent, I'd say personally, judging on the atmosphere in the paddock and out in the forests at the last VLN meet. Mental rental racing!
I wish (a) I was not already busy and (b) I had more 'sneak under the missus radar' money ;-)

I had a lovely chat with a gentleman the other night about a certain BMW artist.

Very interesting indeed.
