How to get into f1 paddock?

hello how does one obtain access to the paddock ,,, does the formula one paddock club hospitality tickets include paddock passes.? or can you buy these elsewhere?,, also how does one get on the grid of the race,, as i regullarly see celebriteys. on the grid .

once got into the F1 paddock in monaco - pre the new swip cards
Had a few laminates passed around my neck and just walked up with a couple of girls and said i was taken them in to show them the car
but it was local security - but a top blag

sounds good whats it like in there how much are paddock passes

You can't get in by blagging. Every event uses the same automated swipe card/turnstile type arrangement now, so unless you can blag the actual passes off someone, you're not on the list, so you ain't getting in

well the 3 day paddock club ticket at silverstone was 2450 euros plus vat...

I managed to blag a couple of access all area passes for an hour at the first us gp.

the security is mad.

to get into the paddock,first there is a security monkey at the gate who visually checks your pass. if you get through that there is then a big open area about 30 metres long to a turnstyle. here your pass is checked electonically, and you go through it. another 30meters and there is another electonic turntyle to go through again, before and other 30 metres to another security chap

so difficult to blag or hop over a fence... Its easier to get into a military base!!!

yep - for the last few years they've had swipe passes

VIP invite - sponsors
the Paddock Club gets u limited access
I think the brit GP for next year is £1200 per ticket

Access to the circuit
Coffee, tea, croissants and pastries
Open bar with Champagne
Gourmet luncheon with fine wines
Pit lane walkabout(s) at specially allotted times
Access to the Support Race Paddock
Official Programme and a pair of ear plugs
Entertainments
Privileged view of the start/finish straight
(Pit Building Terrace and Pit Building Lounge only)
One car parking pass for every four guests

So no access to the F1 paddock - you have to be a team VIP guest to have that

to be honest yr better off going to the Monaco GP - paying to get on one of the balconys that overlook the circuit and then paying to go the F1 drivers ball (Amber Lounge - at around 2000 euro's each) You'll see more drivers in the flesh and have a better view !

Silverstone is easier - just the turnstyle swipe...but you have to have a pass....and the teams count thenm in and count them out. Paddock Club have pits walkabout as part of the package - but it's escorted - no wandering about willy nilly.

When the GP was at Brands back in the '80s I spotted Murray Walker, trotted along next to him chatting about this and that and walked straight through the tunnel under the pits straight into the pits - good old Murray :-)

Team personnel, VIP sponsors, media and friends of Bernie and Pasquale (His oily rag) have the passes. The technology used at the swipe gates is not great but geting a pass without being a 'team guest' is impossible. However if a guest of a sponsor in the VIP Club, your hosts marketing co-ordinator from the team should give tours if possible on Friday and Saturday! Its what I used to do....so I have some idea of how it works!!!!

Who are you going with? Are you in a team suite or a sponsor suite? If with a team, speak to one of the marketing people present, not the hospitality crew. The marketing people will have the passes around their necks. If with a sponsor talk to the senior person responsible and find out if they are entitled to pit visits!

It'd be possible to set something up to open the turnstyle, but making a copy of the design on the card would be harder

You steer your son into loving motorsport from a very early age say 3 or 4 years old, then as he gets older he has this love of the game. When old enough get him into Uni doing a motorsport degree, once completed get him started on the bottom rung of the ladder working on single seaters, BTCC then onto Honda F1, easy. Sit back and enjoy the passes that are given out.

I find it quite easy really, just walk up to the gate and it is opened - although I do it in orange Probans

being female, with legs up to your ass and silicon implants and long blonde hair normally helps!

Start by buying your son a remote controlled car, work your way up from there.....
