Don't have an angle on the others but Ive a hunch this is the closest Lewis will get to a Championship for a few seasons. Ferrari are on a roll but aside from this I'm not sure Uncle Ron's boys have enough time to produce a winner.Any way Kovi beats Lewis in the first race, Lewis will get unnerved and begin to overdrive, try too hard. One thing we'll all agree on, its going to be another great season.

peugeot will indeed win the le mans 24 hours but then they will spend the GDP of france to achieve it.
cant see senna winning GP2, he hasnt set the world on fire yet and i dont see him sudeenly turning into a f1 driver at the end of 2008
no idea about formula ford, is it still the best route to further ones career?

shouldn't that be 'despite that toyota engine'?
i agree tho, rosberg and BMW will continue to rise towards the top. but for either to win any championship is still going to take more than a little luck.

It will take at least another season for Williams to become on part with Ferrari and McLaren. So unfortunately, no win for Nico, although he might win a race if lucky.

Audi are peed off at having only got one car to the finish in 2007 - they won't just want to beat Peugeot they'll want to annihilate them !!

Peugeot have done their year of learning and will be all out to beat Audi properly this year, i.e. without the aid of Audi drivers binning it or wheels falling off. Expect a bit of a budget increase !!


Will also be interesting to see the Porsche RS Spyders in action once they're constrained by the proper rules for LMP2. I expect them to do loads of testing and, unfortunately, begin the demise of the LMP2 class privateers as the factory teams come in and consign them to the 'also ran' list.


GTs - Aston will will GT1, and something 'different' will win GT2.

Well, they've won it 7 times, but not in a row. Bentley won in 2003. Although it did have an Audi engine...

Last year seemed like a blot on their copybook of German efficiency with one of the cars breaking and put it out, another one comprehensively binned by the driver and the other car not quite running faultlessly to the finish.

It was designed and built at RTN in Norfolk, by Peter Ellary etc. It wasn't a rebodied R8.

Indeed - it shared very little with the R8 as I recall, given that the Bentley and R8 were designed to completely different sets of rules in terms of underside aerodynamics, crash structures, tyre widths, etc.

What I'd like to see is the 8 win at Daytona, 88 for the championship. However, first season in a new team, even if it is far and away the best team at the moment, with a huge weight of expectation on his shoulders means it's going to be a big ask.
