Just had the news that my Glebe dogbox is 'unserviceable' and will cost a small fortune to sort. Does anyone have a spare gearbox with known history that they would part with?? I can be reached on 01434 601666 or sales@tvr-hhc.co.uk Many thanks and good luck with everyones preparations, roll on April!!
Best regards, Tony

Hi Graham, it's not really buggered just it sometimes has a box full of neutrals and, especially when it's cold, the gears are vague. I put it into Glebe expecting a freshen up and perhaps a new 'horseshoe' but they don't really have any 8-dog bits left to refresh it. Therefore I'm looking at converting it to a 6-dog box and this is where it gets expensive!! Sounds like I know what I'm talking about doesn't it!! What do you need for yours?
Cheers, Tony

Hi Tony

Can't help you with the dog but I have a couple of T5 race boxes with straight cut 5th available.

Probably a bit late to call you on that number if it is a work one?

Regards

Andy

Sorted now Neil, going for one of these fancy autoboxes, you know, the ones that don't need you to use the clutch pedal!

Just had my lightly used T5 dogbox inspected and it all looks very good apart from the input shaft which although serviceable could really do with being replaced. Anybody got a decent one?
