BMW M3 GTR seat available
Discussion
Hi guys,
Great part of the website this which I've only recently discovered.
Anyway, we've (probably) got one seat (of three seats in total) available for this year in a BMW E46 M3 GTR silhouette racer for the (continental) Dunlop Sport Maxx Endurance Cup (until last year known as the Belcar Endurance Cup).
Races are on Spa-Francorchamps, Zolder (also in Belgium) and Oschersleben (Germany).
We've got a motivated pit crew of 14 people (including two British guys) and a 500 square feet hospitality tent with an excellent caterer present at every race.
Most importantly of course is the car, which is almost raceready now, did a 1.43 on Zolder which is pretty good, but we've got some improvements planned that should edge it towards the 1.40 mark which means we should be more than capable of fighting for podiums and victories (the fastest 911 qualifying lap last year was a 1m40.8 and our car is easier on the tires and has better fuel consumption).
Competition will come from a dozen or so Porsche 911's (both 996's and 997's, GT3's and Cup-cars), a Marcos, two Ultimas and maybe one or two Ferrari F430's.
The preliminary calendar is as follows:
29 - 30/03 Spa Francorchamps
12 - 13/04 Belgian Races Kick Off
07 - 08/06 X-Day (500km)
30 - 31/08 24u van Zolder
13 - 14/09 Truck Grand Prix
11 - 12/10 Oschersleben (Ger)
08 - 09/11 10h of Zolder
No major changes expected other than that we'll probably be driving a feature race in the 24-hour programme and not the entire 24-hour race, as most teams fear that their car won't be up to that.
More information can be found on http://www.dfracing.com/eng/ (still under contruction, but we're working on it).
Very competitive price due to some good team sponsors, drivers with some credentials or experience very much preferred though.
If anyone might be interested, please contact me on peter.tunissen@dfracing.com .

Sure thing!
We've pretty much got everything sorted now. Quite some interest in the third seat too, would be great to get that confirmed as soon as possible, get the final details on the car sorted and then plan some testing days before the first race.
We're looking to broadcast the footage from the onboard camera live on our website, so that will be very cool.
