They don't have any sponsorship on the cars becuase they went 'agency driven' and lost the plot. Their commercial department are not much kop and Honda is happy to bankroll the whole operation and just don't understand sponsorship.

That's a little harsh, I feel. It looks a lot better than last year's car, and the Renault, the Force India and the Red Bull/Toro Rosso car for that matter.

The livery is crap, but it is nice to see thumping big race numbers on the car.

I really want the FIA to introduce a rule stating that the numbers have to be a certain size and position.

Actually, much to the probable annoyance of the enviro-mentalists, F1 is way ahead of the game on enviromental issues. All F1 race weekend activities, tests and travelling have been carbon neutral for more than ten years. The FIA have a carbon offsetting scheme through the Concorde Agreement that plants trees in South America I think.

So it's not as ridiculous as it may seem - especially when you consider their efforts in material sciences and fuel combustion efficiency.

As for the hood on the airbox, it might actually just be a trick of the light - I've marked the apparent edges of them on this pic...

yup, those arent hoods, they are just a bit of an optical illusion from the earth decal on the car.
The car had no interesting bodywork features at all. maybe it will come melbourne
