Also Trulli has siad that the 2008 championship is "bought & paid for" as the Ferrari is way quicker than anything that's out there especially in regard "to its traction coming out of bends,........"

Possibly, though I can't see why it should be fitted on the outside of the wheel - it could just as easily be mounted inside. But I'm sure they would already have sensors monitoring wheel rotation anyway.

measuring tyre wall flex?? though it doesnt make much sense to locate sensor there then.

Airflow sensor for the flow around the tyre?

Last week Autosport seamed to suggest mclaren had a slight avantage over ferrari with williams in 3rd place. I don't think we'll really know until the first race

Hmmmm......

They won't be running traction control. The 2008 common ECU doesn't have the ability to support it.

I have heard rhumors (from the father in law of a McLaren Mech... so who knows wether there is a huge amount of truth or just her say etc) the Mc is slower than the Ferrari and they dont expect to be on the pace until halfway through the year roughly...

apparently ferrari (in testing) run their magnetti marrelli ECU alongside the official one... not sure why.
