Anyone got any ideas on where this years Rally GB route could be? Apparently with remote services now moreavailable, organisers in Wales want to take the rally north of the country to "roads that fans have not seen used in around 10 years".

Any thoughts?

Motorsport News a few weeks ago, referred to the Hafren etc.

With Brecfa etc losing out.

But nothing confirmed.

I first heard something in the Welsh section of BBC news online, saying that the Brechfa region may not be able to hold stages this year (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/wales/south_west/7181438.stm), and so the event would be forced North, but this was backed up by this article: http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/64641
