Should we fit one, or just a redtop and a EFI pump.

chances are if you dont you'll get fuel starvation to the efi pump which will then run dry and die in a couple of laps..

when the tasmin series first started. fuel surge was a huge problem.. but then everyone fitted swirl pots and and it went away.

on our tas we had

1) single original tank
2) red top pump from tank to swirl pot in engine bay.
3) efi pump feeding from bottom of swirl pot
4) fuel rail return in to swirl pot.
5) overflow return from top of swirl pot to tank

then we went to carb and wripped it all out bar the red top at the back ;-)

You may want to send the fuel return from the regulator back into the amil tank so the heat can dissipate more. Sending it into the swirl pot will cause that to heat up a lot quicker. FWIW I'm going to run a dead end system hen the car is back out with the regulator in the boot so I only need to send one fuel line forward. Give me a call if I can help any more.
