Anyone else watch this channel? I caught it last night, tremendous. Firstly an hour long documentary about the rivalry between Ferrari and Mercedes going back to the fifties. This was followed an hour later by two half hour shows, the first covering the 1977 British GP, and the second a program called "Wheelbase" (obviously made at the time) covering the 1969 Monaco GP. There was some fascinating coverage, and it was interesting to see just how accessible the drivers were back in "the good old days". I'll be watching ESPN's listings from now on to see what other gems they have.

We watched this last night. Being of the age I am, I missed all this first time round! The 1969 Monaco GP with the wings and everything! Fantastic!

Wheelbase was BBC's motoring programme before Top Gear.

ESPN Classic is on Sky in the middle of the sports channels.

The programmes are shown every few months (sometimes during the night), so you should catch them again soon.

After looking at the website, the shows are on from 31st March for just under 2 weeks.
