It thanks to you and everyone else who spends their time out on windswept circuits around the country that the rest of us can go and have some fun.
So as my season starts next week, I just wanted to start by saying thank you to all the marshals out there and hope I see you in the paddock rather than visiting you at your post this year.

Marshal here too - the poor man's way to go racing
Sixpack - we built a hovercraft as a project when I was at school around a 250 motorbike engine and it was bloody brilliant. What power do you use in the racing craft?
My craft has a 500cc 2-stroke which is good for 53hp and about 50mph. The Formula 1 boys are using 3 cylinder 800cc 2-strokes out of skidoos which are about 170hp. The Formula 1's can do 0-60 in 4.5 seconds! It's all good fun with no brakes!!!

Most racing craft are very flighty.
