Dean cook won both races, marc hockin drove the pants off his new tuscan and I managed to keep all my limbs attached to my body, however the griff was very sick in the first race which meant I had to withdraw from the second one.

Congratulations to Hurricane Dean!

It is annoying that there was no timing or results service on the internet with the Cadwell meeting not even being mentioned on the BRSCC list on the Timing Solutions website!! Not what we had been led to expect from last years hype. I went to Donington to get some tyres on Thursday when GT Cup testing was on but there was no John Wilson so didn't get my first 2008 fix of TVRs there.

I have looked at Gary's excellent photo on the other post which gives some clues as to who was and was not there. The blue Tuscan looks like Graham Walden so where was Sam Head? Can't see Marc Hockin either. It looks as though grids are going to be good this season.

Can anyone post the list of those who actually took part and the results so those of us who were not there know what we are up against?

We are still working on No 3. Spent yesterday spraying it and am back at the workshop today. Waiting for the engine but should be ready for Snetterton so hope to see everyone there.

15 cars in race 1 and 13 in 2 - that is good? That is below the MSA average required for a series at the end of the year (16 av. before they start to look very hard at the series).

Hopefully lots more out soon.

For various reasons the following were not at Cadwell:

3 Hugh Marshall
9 Richard & Ben Wright
10 Tim Hood
11 Steve Glynn
23 Fred Tongue
30 Sam Head
58 Darren Smith
66 George Carter
69 John Wilson

and I'm sure Graham Walden can add to the list!

only 11 at cadwell last year, and 3 of those were missing yesterday because of build issues, so yes it is looking good for the championship.also well done to all the rookies ,no major incidents at a tricky circuit.

A fantastic weekend for the Track Car Solutions - Wilder Engineering T350R. A poor start in race 1 but managed 2nd in class B by the end and my first class B win in race 2. Results are great but fastest laps have always meant more to me, I was more than a little pleased with a 1:37.672.

My full report here http://www.tvr-racing.co.uk/results.htm

P.S. Thanks to everyone who helped make my project T350R racer a reality.

Er, so that's where it went. It's 60 quid a gallon that. Can you scrape it off and let me have it back as mine is showing MT. weeping

Well done Cliffclap, what a great start for the season for you,it must feel good after all the trials of last year.If it's any consolation the poor start you mention in race 1 only made it more interesting for us spectators as you carved your way back through the packsmile
It's a shame that all the TVR Challenge races arent 1 day double headers,as it's really great to watch 2 TVR races in 1 dayyes.
