as title really, would prefer wired in as apposed to re-chargable,
costs?
makes?
types?
USA ones are cheaper, do they work in GB
all advice appreciated.

We use the AMB Transponder, no problems last year with it, no probs at Cadwell Park 08. Think it was about £120ish. Use the perm live one then its one less thing to think about on the start line.

just looked on their website and for the ambrc260 with the exchange rate it is £292 the guy at cadwell was selling them for £215 so where can i buy the £130 one and what model no. is it ?

I don't think they are £120. When we changed over from the old Kronit orange transponders to the new red AMB a couple of years ago there was a trade in discount but I'm sure I paid more than that even with the discount!

That sounds about right, there was such a stink caused by the forced move that mst sorted a deal out, if you traded in the old one..

IIRC it was the american company that licence the software who forced the change..
