Big crash at Talladega - unbeliveable stupidity involved

Kevin LePage moving slow exiting the pits and clearly forgets how to do it properly and pulls up early above the yellow line right in front of the leading pack at full speed.

From experience (of listening to my spotter!)
It is a spotters job to tell his driver when the track is clear to join, and it's the spotters to tell his driver that there is a slower car ahead, and to go high/low.
The car that hit him up the jacksy (first) was running straddling the yellow blend line, and he was either not listening to his spotter, or his spotter wasn't watching what was going on.
When you're in one of these cars your peripheral visibility is near nil, your rearward visibility is stuff all (usually down to what mirrors you have shaking so much that it's all a blur!).
So, he was right to say what he did. The other spotters were at fault for not telling their driver what to do/where to go.

No it wasn't. If you watch the replay starting at 1:31 you can see the whole field approaching; none of the cars in the pack are below the line, or even touching it.Besides there's no getting away from the fact that the car leaving the pits did straddle the line.
As he was the only one to go the wrong side of the line I don't understand how this can be anyone else's fault than the rejoining driver or his spotter or both??
I admit to shooting from the lip here. I'd read the report in Autosnert, and it didn't tell the same story as the Youtube clip did (which I didn't manage to view until a short while ago).
Yep, driver and spotter at fault here. He wasn't past turn 3, which is where you can blend back in if you're nearing speed, he was between 2 & 3, which was way to early.
Grade one mistake of mega magnitude.
However, the other spotters should have warned their guys to go high just in case, something like - "slower Car exiting the pit road on the apron dude, he shouldn't come out, be careful. Have a nice day y' hear".
Not six of one and half a dozen of the other, but more nine and three.
