Only for Vettel to be towled up by Australia's favourite son and my hero Webber. Id be very surprised if David is there next year i remember hearing rumors that Newey became angry with David on the topic of mirrors which ended in Newey pointing out they could always get someone else to drive the car

One train of thought is he may announce his retirement at end of Monaco (party at his hotel) and drive through to Silverstone (party in front of UK crowds), he may also stay on as consultant/test driver with Red Bull along with other commentary line ups.

And in my world of wishful thinking, I'd like Sato to get Vettel's Torro Rosso drive and Davidson to get a test seat with Williams and become Rosberg's Number 2 next year.

Vettel already has that RBR contact in his pocket for 2009, but I am not sure yet whether the team has decided who he replaces. Both drivers' contracts are up next year and I was told that DC had been offered a non-driver role in the team once he throws in the towel. I'd say there has to be a chance that neither current driver stays with the team.

Webber will be staying, Coulthard will be retiring into a management role ala Schumacher.
