Seems Honda have told Bernie Ecclestone that they won't be competing, to 'save any embarrassment to the company if Weigl deal falls through'.

Seem a bit weird to me, I thought the public were generally behind Super Aguri and want to see them on the grid, and given the fact that the team was formed 'by Honda' due to reaction in Japan to Taku not having a drive, I would have thought that this would be more awkward than seeing their B team dropping out at the last minute.

So much for Honda supporting Sato. It is so depressing that the tiny teams still have no chance in F1. Much of my enjoyment of F1 over the years has been following the fortunes of Minardi, Toleman and other gallant efforts. So much more interesting than the revised shape of a Ferraris winglets, I hope SA can struggle through this.
