Speed will be showing it. They are showing every other F1 race this season.

cbs is guaranteed to be on the hotel tv as it's one of the three major networks. the speed channel is possible, but less likely.

CBS WILL NOT SHOW THE RACE!

You should have actually looked at the link you posted. CBS have no F1 races anymore, and haven't done for at least a year. Speed's parent company, Fox, now has the rights to show the four non-Speed races, not CBS.

OP - Your only chance to see it is by watching Speed TV, so make sure your hotel carries it. Alternatively, try posting on the Speed TV forums, someone might know of a bar that's showing it, although it'll be on at the crack of dawn.

With the race starting at 08.00am NY time you are going to struggle to see it in a sports bar. Speed Channel will show it but 90% of hotels do NOT carry this channel. My best guess is phone ahead or plug in a lap top listen on Radio 5 live and the web.

Radio 5 live doesn't have the rights to stream the races online, only on the radio, so the internet feed is blacked out when the race is on. You're pretty much SOL if you can't find a TV showing Speed.

Thanks for that bit of CBS info. Am thinking about buying a slingbox and taking my laptop, although TBH its a holiday and laptop will end up making me work on the plane.

I used to have this problem when I lived in NY. Best bet is google as many sports bars (and any regular ones open at that time) as you can and give them a call. Chances are they won't know what F1 is but mention the Speed channel and they should twig.

Good luck!

Speed has all the F1 Races and their coverage is better than UK.

IN NYC it is channel 123. Easy. smile

PS - It's a standard Time Warner Cable Channel. It's pretty much everywhere TimeWarner CTV is.
