Sad to hear. I saw him racing many times in Ireland.

Sad day for Ulster and the Dunlop Family having allready lost Joey.But they loved their Road Racing and Robert had been a very good 125 rider. It takes a special kind of rider to compete in Road Racing with no run off areas and brick walls everywhere and the Dunlop Brothers were legends at it.

That's awful news.

An old mate of mine is from Ballymoney, apparently Joey used to have a pub near him, decked out with loads of pictures of their racing exploits.

I remember Steve Hislop saying that he was giving up road races because it was too dangerous. Then he got himself a helicopter...

Very sad news, so sorry for his wife Louise and the boys. Robert loved his bike racing and had had a real bad off a few years back so he knew the risks but followed his passion with a vigour. Lets hope the North West 200 races go without incident this weekend.

I am neither a biker or racer but can understand those that do.

All I can offer are my sincere condolences to all those affected by this, to put this in perspective for myself, as a Scot, this hits home the same way as Colin McRae (and the others) at the time of their demise.
