I am sorry, I don't want to email you with a comment, so I'll post it here.
On the smaller fonts in red, the are almost illegible, they just become a red shape. Maybe black would be better for the purpose? I know you are wanting everything to be matching but that is detrimental to your website.

You've included a pet hate of mine.... you click on START an it opens another window.

Once at that page - why is the image (copyright) bit cropped.. and have a black border..? Looks odd.

Also, if you have to explain what "Lightbox" is, then it's too complicated. Stick to calling it "My Favourites" as people are familiar with the terminology.

The red text on the grey background once you've clicked on a menu (eg Gallery) is hard to read, and not (to my eye) particulalry aestehtically pleasing.

The time to move from one photo to another takes to long. People like to click through things quickly, and that scroll bar thing from the plug-in is an instant put off. Shame, as the photos are bloody great.

Apologies if this sounds overly negative, I hope it's constructive - as intended.

Leigh, not sure what you mean about the 'next button'? When you click on an image to view, there is a 'previous' and 'next' option in the bottom left corner of the window, there's also a slideshow option, or do you mean somewhere else on the site?



Absolutely, I have changed the text colour to white and darkened the background. I think its helped



Podie, I agree about the separate window, but its something I can't change due to the host-site that offers various templates and it wasn't until I had tried the existing template that I found it a little annoying, I'm wary of trying another template as I will have to change all the settings and may even lose all the uploaded images. If the site is a success, I will try another template.

The black boarders and copyright are only on a few shots, if you refresh the homepage, a different image should appear. I didn't bother to resize some of the images so, the default window/frame adjusts the shot to fit. This will be sorted if I keep the site.

I can't do anything about the Lightbox as its an existing template but tbh, I quite like the term lightbox, as its used a lot in my profession, well, it used to be before digital took over from film.

The time-bar is irritating but again, I can't do anything about it. I guess its either the host-site server is too slow or it could be due to my site being temporary, I'm gonna ask them about that.

Gary, I think you are doing a tremendous job with the photos and the guys racing should get a real benefit from your work. Aside from the images of the cars for sponsors, friends, family etc, the shots of the cars going through corners tell a great story and should help many of the drivers with set up.

Last year we got a lot of info about what the car was doing in corners from a CD full of photos from a friendly photographer and made a number of positive changes to the car for the next race. It is really interesting to compare the cars from your Snett photos.

Keep up the good work, I'm sure the guys must really appreciate it

Got it working now.

What I had done was click on Gallery at the bottom, not the start, then Gallery.

Thanks for your kind words Andy, they are very much appreciated.

Some of the racers have said how the shots help in the setup of the cars. Its nice to know my efforts contribute to the series and help to make the cars more competitive.

I think images are vital in creating the right look for the team and make a website really stand out and add an element of professionalism that should help to attract sponsorship, as shown with Cliff's site.
