Did I hear right about Ferrari new system

I am certain that during the ITV coverage one of the commentators alluded to the fact that the new found pace Ferrari had found for Monaco was that they were now using a damper system the same as Mclarens. This allowed them to ride the kerbs far better than last year.
What i find strange is Macs were not allowed to use their own take on Fezzas brake balance system or even for that matter the use of the same gas in the tyres as dictated to by the FIA. Smacks of double standards,Nothing new there then.

Its the same with the Red Bull tail tin. A lot of the cars are using them now. Everyone copies, and everyone gets away with it. Apart from mclaren, of course....

I take it that Macs will not be turning up with a hole in the top of the nose cone untill some other team use it first .
