Fastest driver A to B

Assuming a hypothetical and legal event where a (dry) public road is closed, and all drivers have the same fast (RWD) road car available to them, who do you think would be the fastest racing driver from A to B?
I was thinking maybe Loeb with his supreme tarmac rallying ability, then there's Kimi or would it be someone like Walter Rohrl or Dirk Schoysman, with their racing background and massive roadcar testing experience?
I would certainly like to be there to watch it...

Heiki Kovalinen has won that a few times...
you could basically state any rally driver from the last thirty years, Mikkula, Alen, Sainz, Kankkunen etc and be correct, if he didnt bin it so often when on a charge i would have McRae up there with Loeb and Gronholm but i would go for someone who is a little bit smoother and has a more flowing driving style.....Andy Priaulx.
I always think he looks a cut above the rest of the WTCC door bangers like Thompspon and Muller, he uses much less steering input and seems to carry more corner speed. his perfrmance at places like Macau are pretty impressive as any mistake there is punished heavily. add to that his formative years throwing hugely powerful single seaters up places like Shelsey Walsh and Wiscombe and you have a very accurate driver with experience of different disciplines and the associated demands.

I'll just try to clarify the scenario a little, all drivers are in their prime, and it can be
any driver from throughout the years. Assume the road is similar to events such as the Targa Florio or Mille Miglia. No co-drivers allowed.
What about the F1 greats then, Senna, Fangio, Clark (In no particular order, I don't want to start that argument!)
Fangio did a lot of this type of racing in his early career. Also remember Moss averaging nearly 100mph in the 1955 Mille Miglia in a 300SLR.
What about Jackie Ickx and Stefan Bellof, both super fast at the Nordschleife?

Only the Mille Miglia was a high speed road race (average a knats under 100mph) and Moss used pace notes; Fangio's long distance S. American were more endurance events for thousands of miles across the continent on unmade roads. He stopped when his co-driver/friend was killed. Moss always felt he had the edge over Fangio in Sports cars.
