Eurosport & WRC
Discussion
What a fecking pile of s
t Eurosport is.
23:50 and still they've got lads prancing about on skates when the WRC should be on.
I had this all last year, to the point where I gave up trying to record the WRC on SKY+, why oh why d othey always over run? And why in God's name can't they get a SKY+ box to trigger its recording based upon the start of the program and not the actual time of day.
Bloody sick of it, I missed so much last year that I actually started recording it on Dave this year instead. Icame home deliberately early from the pub as I want to see how the new Subaru is doing and sure enough 20 minutes into the program and it hasn't even started yet.
Good job I didn't rely on Sky to record it.
(Slightly fuming as I was looking forward to an early night.)

I agree with the sky timing thing, its b
ks really.
If Im really keen to catch anything, Motogp practice/quali in particular, then I always record the programs both sides of what I want.
Im about to bin Sky and go with Virgin now , so will see how that pans out.
Its not as Sky fault, Its BSP! I'm with Virgin on the V+ and it does the same thing

Saturday nights recording messed up as well - Missed the 2nd half of the show! DAMN BSP and its not repeated on Sunday morning so I've missed half of day 2!
I'll have to watch Dave's show tonight then.
Cant bear to watch it on Dave, that total arse they have presenting the show makes me want to kill......I'll have to watch Dave's show tonight then.

Eurosport obviously couldn't give a toss about timings as they have been perennially unable to show virtually any programme at its listed start time - going back years. I gave up even bothering watching them as it was just so frustrating.
One of the huge downsides of the commercial satellite world is that the channels have no proper mechanisms to allow their customers (i.e. the viewers) to lodge any sort of meaningful feedback and to take any action on it.
Complain as much as you like about the Beeb, but at least they can't be be accused of not letting their viewers vent their feelings to them.
