Stuart i am with you on this one,everyone kept telling me you have got to go to Spa,and ever since i started in this crazy sport it was on my list of circuits to drive,but reading the circuit guides and watching the you tube videos does not prepare you for what it is realy like,i am still smiling,and to get a result in the 88 civic was fantastic.Roll on brands!Cheers Terry

It is always a pleasure to work for great teams, who put their soles into and get from the sport the ultimate, a level playing field. For the first time in British Club Racing at the highest level teams can race knowing the rules are not restrictive and if followed, are easy to apply.
James wishes to thank you all for the support you are giving him, a special thanks to the team at home in his office and his son Oliver, who is taking a more active role in the company.
The races at Brands for BritcarGT and BritcarPS1 have been extended, to give better value.
There are still entries in Britcar PS1, there are 2x50 minute races.

We had a great time at Spa despite one thing after another going wrong. But then thats why we enjoy endurance racing and Britcar in particular so much. You never know whats going to happen next.
We had a big front and rear shunt on the test day at Blanchimont, with the car rebuilt and ready to go by 6am next morning courtesy of some very clever rally mechanics, a portapower, a lump hammer and some very helpfull competitors with some of the spares we needed.
To add our "nicely" understeering car we had a drive shaft failure in practice, then a puncture in the race, then a baulking gearbox with the last hour spent only in 5th to compensate and finaly just 7 minutes from the end a plastic radiator part split and we lost water forcing retirement at Pouhon before the engine joined the gearbox in a recycling bin.
No endurance race season is complete without a race of trials so we loved it despite everything that happend so long as we can understand and can justify why everything that happened of course....
