French TV - do they show the Grand Prix?

Hi,

I'm off to France on Friday for a week, and I believe the place we are renting just has standard French TV, no Sky etc.

Does the GP get shown live on French standard television, or do I need to find somewhere else to watch it?

If it's a yes, do you know the name of the channel?

yes, suggest you buy a weekend paper when you arrive, even if your french is not very good you can still spot the GP entry in the TV listings and check you've got the right channel on your tv.

The coverage is so Funny! watch a couple of Grand Prix last year when in france. if you cn understand french they put so much more zing into the commentary than the monotone stuff broadcast on ITV.
