..promting bourdais? don't know why he deserves it..
____
heard nothing but they better hire brundle. i don't mind thingy pit man and i have got used to louise and her bionic arm.
whilst i am sure he's a nice chap mark 'estuary' blundell isn't good on tv and ryder is no better than count von count (although i am sure he wasn't this bad when he was on BBC??).
i'd swap james "the c0ck" allam for simon toff who used to/may still do the radio commentary and who writes in c&sc amongst other places.

I would like to see:
Commentary Box
Martin Brundle
Mark Blundell (Give him a change at least)
Pit Lane
Ted Cravitz (Cant stand Louise)
Steve Ryder Cup
Shot out of a Cannon and in to a wall
James Allen
Although I like Brundle, he would not make a good commentator. Ben Edwards or David Croft would do.

Please no one from Top Gear unless they can do it properly and not p
s about.
Actually, I'd never thought of that, but I genuinely think that Hammond could be a good addition to the crew.
s about. As an excersise in getting viewers, he'd certainly attract more females (not that that interests me) but he's throroughly enthusiastic about cars, and has driven one (albeit poorly
)The experienced pros and their technical ability coupled with Richard Hammond and his light hearted persona, I think may go well together.
JC would not suit the seriousness of F1
JM would not be lively enough
Just a thought of course.
I'm sorry, but the last thing we need is anyone from Top Gear. They are great at what they do, but don't put them in a role which is not suited to them - look at Gordon Brown!!
I think the Beeb should make a call to Lee McKenzie and have her as the anchor, with Brundle in the comms box. Get some fresh new talent to run around the pits and then it's just the choice of co-commentator... that's the hardest problem.

I know I'm going to get flamed for this but am I really the only one on hear who thinks that the hamster is a bit of a tit? It would possibly be the worst thing the BBC ever did putting him on the F1 show. He has no knowledge of racing what so ever.
My choice would be the two chaps who do the MotoGp commentating for Eurosport. I dont know their names, maybe someone could enlighten me. If they included Ben Edwards in that line up they would make F1 seem so exciting the popularity would ski-rocket.

Charlie Cox (the BBC2 MotoGP commentator) has just signed up to do the Australian Top Gear - presume that will film in the summer so not clash with motoGP.
Anyway haven't the Beeb already said they're not carrying over the commentators from this year? Thus most of the speculation in this thread is quite wide of the mark. Based on that from the BBC, their commentators are most likely to be the guys in Five Live.
