Personally, I think it would be appalling if Honda did get rid of Jens - he's driven fantastically for Honda, especially over the last couple of years, and (although I appreciate that nothing is sacred in F1) it would be very poor form for them to ditch a driver who has stuck by them after they gave him a total dog to drive.

It also seems odd that they'd want to get rid of him - I can't think of any other drivers who'd want a seat somewhere other than where they are who'd do a better job. Actually, I doubt there's many drivers who could do a better job, full stop!

It almost sounds like they are blaming their poor performance on the drivers. Do they really think top drivers will want to work with them after their recent performance?

With regulation changes coming up (KERS and aero changes) the 09/10 Hondas may be more competitive than they have been in recent years.
Rubens may retire anyway, so Honda are bound to be at least looking for new drivers.
Its very very unusual for a team to have signed both drivers for next season at this time of year.

It would be much more of a story if Nick Fry were saying that they were NOT looking for drivers next year.

Rubens and Jenson (and Takuma) have got their noses to grind stone, uncomplainingly (certainly "relatively") and unflinchingly and this is the thanks they get?

Fry is a doofus.

I don't think you'll get many people disagreeing with you there. Certainly not me.

Yayyy! Sorry Reubens, you're a nice chap and all, but F1 needs Taku!

I disagree, there has been plenty accidents since traction control got banned, Taku is now redundant imo.
