First time I've noticed that there are no labels on the bottles of bubbly the drivers get on the podium. How long has that been going on,and why? The last time they lost sponsorship of the bottles by a champagne producer they just stuck some other stuff up there, but left the labels on.

Trulli got a wee bit emotional red guys droned as usual etc etc
So, yet another monotonous F1 press conference then. It's only worth listening when DC manages a top 3 finish as the rest of them can barely string a sentence together.I can't see what all the fuss is about.

The iceman is incredibly dull, but having DC on the podium guarantees at least some (dry) humour.

Hamilton didn't win, so ITV lost interest. The Beeb used to be far less biased and left it to Murray to do all the fanaticisms! Good on Murray though is he was pretty excited by all the drivers, not just the Brits, historically speaking.

The press conferences are often skipped, especially if there are 22 fairys preparing to mince around a field chasing a balloon.

I know I may be in the minority in not having the slightest interest in football, but it annoys me intensely that valuable time at the end of the F1 programme is spent telling me about the football programme coming up later. I suspect most fans know it is going to be on anyway, and yesterday they promoted the football for later this week and ignored the fact that ITV4 had the FIA GT championship on almost immeditaely after the F1.

Is this what F1 coverage is like in india?.
So ITV are just going to show the press conference when LH is in it from now on?.

I couldn't believe what I was watching. They spent most of the race watching the last 2 cars racing each other just because LH mad messed up!.

I don't think ITV have any say at all about the choice of pictures, they get a feed which is controlled by the race TV director. They do choose when to drop the ad breaks in though. Is this what F1 coverage is like in india?.

At least Lewis was racing. I think the coverage was pretty good yesterday, concetrating on the on track battles going on rather than watching cars just going round and round on their own. I guess Marlboro didn't get good value for money yesterday though.

Yesterday's race seemed to bear this out - it was good to watch those who were actually racing, as opposed to "merely" those at the front.
