World Brand or World Champion...
Discussion
With the news that Lewis has just signed to be the new face of Reebok for a reported £10 million over the next 5 years and the endless other 'PR' obligations his team around him are signing him up for - like the £750 poster signed by him - SUCKS!!, is there a possibility that the drive by this management team around him to build a new 'Black Beckham' could have repercusions on the guy never quite managing to secure the World Championship?
Think about it, beckham maybe a global brand now, but he's never won a world championship...
It will be a shame to throw away what appears to be on the surface a great talent.

I don't quite follow the logic here. How does Hamilton signing a commercial deal make him less likely to win the World Championship?Think about it, beckham maybe a global brand now, but he's never won a world championship...

Beckham not being in a World cup winning side was due to him being to young to compete in 1966 and the suceeding England football teams not being good enough.

Ironically I find these pathetic threads 100 times more annoying than the OP in any of them finds Lewis...
I can see what the OP is saying and he is sharing his thoughts. Will Lewis get so wrapped up in the 'hype' that it will cost him the focus needed to win the world championship. As opposed to just leaving it, you have just made yourself look pathetic.....nice one

Maybe if you could write your comments in English, then we might be able to understand them ?

Interesting...The other day I posted a remark on one of your threads that went against your view point, now it seems when ever I post a comment, you hunt me down and respond with a negative...
