Viewing GP at Copse

Going to my first GP this weekend. Bit of a last minute decision for me and the misses, so we got tickets for Copse terrace but have never been to Silverstone before. I was speaking to a fella in work this afternoon and mentioned that iwas going to Silverstone. As he left he said to be sure to take a chair. So as i have no idea what to expect i did a bit of digging on the web and the only pic i could find of Copse with spectators was with them all sitting on folding chairs.

So question is do i need to take a folding camping chair or can you just stand??

you'll need a chair, you can usually pick them up from service stations or Tesco/Asda for about £5.

Copse terrace is basically concrete steps! You'll need to get there super early too (6am?)

Yeah, get there early, but it is a great place to watch an F1 car.

You don't NEED a chair as such, you could just take a spounge pad and sit on the concrete and stand up for the racing, but a lot of people do take camping chairs. I would recommend you get their early though, pick your spot and stick to it!
